Mithri, is the name of a small village, 50Kms from Sirsa, falls in the least developed industrial belt of Haryana. Agriculture & Cattle Farming is the biggest occupation of people and most of them have large pockets of land that has low value.

But the data shows that Haryana is one of the states with highest per capita milk production and the mithri region is not different. There are numerous Cattle Farmers who depend largely on local milk distribution. There was a clear needgap.

Here comes Mithri Farm, a milk processing facility that is equipped with best of machinery and equipment run with global best practices. We procure from the local farmers to the tune of 1,00,000 litres per day to begin with. The idea is not just to offer a steady source of income to these farmers but to also make Haryana not one of but highest dairy producer of India.

THE HARYANA STORY!

Haryana, the dairy capital of India, a state with not just one of the highest
percapita dairy consumption states, is also one of the top percapita dairy
production states too.
Haryana is predominantly an agricultural state with its economy
dependent of farming, agriculture and agri based industry. Most farmers
breed cattle as a subsidiary occupation and produce milk which largely is
consumed locally. In absence of a distribution system and evolved logistics,
scaling of milk production remains a challenge. Various initiatives have
been launched by the State government to develop a the dairy production
& distribution through co-operatives and private players. Mithri farm is one
of the latest entrant in the field of Dairy Production with latest machinery
and evolved testing & procurement system to help the milk producers
scale their production.

WHY MITHRI?!

Mithri Farms, As the name suggests is state of the art milk processing plant of ZRPL Pvt
Ltd, a renowned Industrial House of Haryana, in Mithri Village some 50kms north-east of the town of Sirsa. It is well connected to the cities of Delhi, Chandigarh, Hissar, Rohtak, Ludhiana, Bikaner, Jaipur etc.
The entire belt of Mithri village is considered to be an Industrially backward belt due to
absence of Industries. Largely it is attributed to resource less area which is mostly depends on agriculture.
Mithri Farm was established with a deep knowledge of area and how the area has potential to develop as a dairy hub. Owning to a large population that is involved with raising cattle and milk production, this area has a huge potential to scale up provided there are local level processing plants which can consume the produce and churn out products that can be marketed countrywide.

CREATING AN ECO-SYSTEM

Mithri farm was created with an objective of developing the dairy production in the area while offering a sustainable occupation to the farmers and cattle growers of the Area.
Operating on the concept of milk-cooperative, Mithri Farm has built up a capacity of 1,00,000 litre of milk per day. Achieving that volume will require all the milk producers to more than double their production offering them a better and more sustainable income source.
Milk procured from various farmers is used for distribution in various forms and is also made into various products like Curd, Cheese, Chhach, Butter, Ghee etc.
